We can Do Big Things As A Team

Caring Pals USA is a newly-formed and growing network of individuals on a mission to help children in America.  The idea for such a group came from some of our experiences as successful face-to-face (sidewalk) fundraisers for some of the largest and best known children's charities in the world, including Care, Plan International and Children International, and Save The Children.

While we applaud those major NPOs helping so many needy children around the world, time and time again we heard donors express deep concerns for kids in need right here in America.  We shared those concerns, and dedicated ourselves to developing an  organization committed to the task of helping kids in America's communities.

Our determination has paid-off:  we've introduced an efficient, economical and highly-effective not-for-profit group - Caring Pals USA - that brings together members of the general public, business owners and organizations helping kids into what we call our "Community of Care."

Unable to match the resources of the huge for-profit fundraising companies, and unwilling to incur the high administrative costs, we've developed cost-effective operating strategies that rely primarily on volunteerism and sponsorship, and in part on subscriptions to our publications.

Our mission:  To enlighten the public on the various issues affecting the children of America, with an emphasis on those in dire need of aid.  To organize and implement direct assistance to children in need.  And to increase support for other organizations with proven-effective programs helping kids in America.  Our methods:  utilizing our network of volunteers headed by Community Coordinators in each city to identify children in need, those interested in helping, and organizations deserving of our support.

Local programs, such as Care Clothing and Care Reading, administered by Community Coordinators, will collect from donors and make available to children new clothing and books.  And our Street Team Program and our Performing Arts Project will help gain support for organizations helping kids in America

Here's how the street team works: Caring Pals USA enlists both businesses and members of the general public as sponsors for trained street team members (we call them "ambassadors").

Individuals may sponsor a Caring Pals Sidewalk Ambassador (CPA) - even selecting the member from our roster of screened-applicants, and the featured charities that member introduces to the public.

Businesses may sponsor an entire Caring Pals Team. That team's apparel will display the Caring Pals and sponsor's logo (unless the sponsor desires otherwise).

Caring Pals Ambassadors then engage the public, introducing new donors to local and community charities, including those selected by the sponsors (whose "Thank you" letter is included in our new membership kits presented by our Ambassadors), and then utilizing established NPO online networks to connect each donor to their children's charity of choice!*

Our other program - the Performing Arts Project - enlists individuals or businesses to sponsor free performances at parks, malls, or even on city sidewalks by solo musicians, poets or other entertainers.  Supporters of this project support both the arts and kids; with contributions funding both the performance and the organizations helping kids in America that the sponsor has chosen.

Through these and other programs, Caring Pals serves the children in need, promotes the good deeds of the sponsors, and brings the community closer together.  Caring Pals - Helping Kids In America.   We invite you to join us.
