What Is An Ambassador?

Ambassadors are members of Caring Pals' street teams.  Each team will be sponsored by an individual or business, whose name and/or logo may be displayed on the team uniforms.  Individual ambassadors may also be sponsored by an individual or business.

These teams will hit the sidewalks, introducing interested members of the public to organizations helping kids in America that are selected by the sponsor, and meet Caring Pals USA criteria.

What Does An Ambassador Do?

By directly engaging members of the public in friendly sidewalk encounters, an ambassador puts a face  on the charitable organizations represented, potential donors are introduced to the cause at hand, and many become involved in helping both financially and in other ways.

Face-To-Face fundraising, still relatively new, is the most effective and cost-efficient fundraising means.  NPOs such as Save The Children, Green Peace, World Wildlife Fund, Care, Plan International, and Children International swear by it.

While CPAs will be utilizing this relatively new and highly-successful fundraising method, there is a new twist:  CPSF teams will be sponsored by a particular local or national business;  potential donors will be able to choose from a selection of charities - both national and in their own community - to become involved with on an on-going basis; and CPAs will merely act as hosts, on behalf of the local business and/or individuual sponsors, signing on the donors as "members" of Caring Pals, and facilitating their donations to the charitable organizations selected.

Can I Choose The Person I Wish To Sponsor?

Yes.  Absolutely.  We want you to be involved as much as you wish.  You can either choose from our list of screened-applicants in your area (or any area), or you can nominate any individual you know and ask that person to complete our online application.

How Do I Sponsor An Ambassador?

We invite you to sponsor a Caring Pals Ambassador (of your choice).  Sponsorship entails contributing the Start-Up Cost for that fundraiser (about $425.)  In return, you get the satisfaction of knowing that your donation has not only set a fine example for one of our bright, young enthusiastic fundraisers, but will enable that person to raise, many times that amount for established organizations (that you may select) helping kids in America.

Harold Kushner:

When you carry out acts of kindness you get a wonderful feeling inside. It is as though something inside your body responds and says, yes, this is how I ought to feel.
